Dr. Nathan M. Champion
Messer, N.D., DHANP, and Dr. Andre Saine, N.D., FCAH.  Dr. Champion is
a member of the
American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP),
the
Arizona Naturopathic Medical Association (AzNMA), and the Oncology
Association of Naturopathic Physicians (OncANP).

Through his extensive background in exercise physiology, as well as his
own battle with Ulcerative Colitis, Dr. Champion understands how
fundamental and vitally important diet and lifestyle changes are in
achieving optimal health.  He utilizes homeopathy, along with clinical
nutrition, botanicals and a variety of other Naturopathic Modalities to treat a
wide array of both acute and chronic health conditions, including:
Ulcerative Colitis, Crohn's Disease, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Arthritis
Diabetes, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Hypercholesterolemia, Hypertension,
Heart Disease, Hyper/Hypothyroidism, etc.  He has a special interest in
digestive conditions, but sees patients of all ages with all kinds of health
concerns.

Dr. Champion believes in the body’s innate wisdom and power to heal
itself.  He believes his role is to help facilitate this process using non-toxic
natural therapies.  Homeopathy has been around for over 200 years and is
one of the safest and most effective forms of medicine available today.  Dr.
Samuel Hahnemann, German physician and father of homeopathy, states it
best,
“The physician’s highest calling, his only calling, is to make sick
people healthy—to heal, as it is termed”.

When he is not practicing, Dr. Champion loves spending time outdoors with
his wife and fellow Naturopathic Physician, Dr. Nita Keskitalo. He loves
escaping to northern Arizona where he enjoys camping, hiking, mountain
biking, target shooting, and exploring the “off-road” in his Jeep.
Dr. Nita J. Keskitalo
population that is often neglected in today’s society. Throughout her
medical training at SCNM, Dr. Keskitalo worked with a number of doctors
throughout the Arizona valley but focused most of her training on women’s
medicine and classical homeopathy. She studied under homeopathic
experts such as Dr. Stephen Messer, ND, DHANP, and Dr. Andre Saine,
ND, FCAH. She is also a member of the
American Association of
Naturopathic Physicians.

Dr. Keskitalo treats patients of all ages with a variety of health concerns.
Her areas of interest include Family Medicine, Women’s Health, Endocrine
and Metabolic disorders. Dr. Keskitalo uses several naturopathic modalities
when treating patients with a focus in Clinical Nutrition, Homeopathy as well
as Botanical Medicine.  She believes in treating the source of the illness
and not merely treating symptoms of that illness. In doing so, she will
develop a treatment plan that is individualized for each unique patient.

When she is not practicing, Dr. Keskitalo loves to spend time in the
outdoors with her husband, Dr. Nate Champion. She enjoys being active
with hiking, camping, and volleyball as well as other sports but also enjoys
time to herself simply working on a puzzle or cooking in the kitchen.
